Monosex tilapia fingerlings and high quality hybrid fingerlings from the hybridization between channel and blue catfish which exhibit substantially improved growth and feed conversion rate as well as improved survival, disease resistance, low water quality tolerance, harvestability and carcass traits. All strains of monosex red tilapia produced by our farm are true breeding variety originating from Nile tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) and Mossambique tilapia (Oreochromis mossambicus)

Our high performance tilapia strains consist of 3 different lines:

THE NAGRI 1 (Light Silver). Obtained from pure Nile tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) breed to a perfection with high tolerance to salinity and handling.

THE AQUA-RED (Hybrid). Selected line of superior color. Body shape and excellent growing rate. The Aqua-red also exhibit high salinity and handling tolerance.

THE MALAYSIAN WHITE (solid white color). The Malaysian white is a fast growing tilapia with a nice body shape and small head. The Malaysian White required of good water management. The Malaysian white is an ideal fish for growing in cages or raceways in high densities.

CATFISH HYBRID (Super Cat). The hybrid between Channel and Blue Catfish grows 30-100% faster than channel catfish, production is 44-120% higher than channel catfish, and feed conversion efficiency is 10-=20% better than channel catfish. Additionally, the hybrid is 10-50% more resistant to ESC than channel catfish. Disease resistance and survival is 10-50% higher for the hybrid than channel catfish. When 100% of channel catfish die from low dissolved oxygen, only 33% of the hybrids die. The hybrid is twice as easy to seine as the channel catfish. Dressout and nugget % of the hybrid is 2-4% higher than channel catfish while fillet % of the two are equal. Depending upon conditions, hybrid food fish production has $700-$2,800 more profit/acre compared to channel catfish food fish production.

RED CARP. Triploid fingerlings of Red Carp (Cyprinus carpio) are used for the control of weeds and organic matter. Our red carp have a great feed conversion. The red carp is the ideal fish for the control unwanted weeds and organic matter in water and sewer processing plants. The red carp are extremely resistant to handling, salinity and cold waters.
